About Me
I have been teaching at Wilson since 2009. Initially, I taught Art classes here at the high school, but have returned to my first love, English. This upcoming year, I will be teaching CP 10 English. In the past, I have taught CP 12 English, Humanities, AP Art History, Drawing and Painting classes. I graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelors in English, where I also played Field Hockey and Lacrosse. I worked for a few years in Market Research and Publishing and then returned to school in order to pursue my Bachelors in Art Education and a teaching certificate from Kutztown University. I have two toddlers at home, Michael and Grace. I truly believe that the study of Literature is the study of who we are and what we are all about – our hopes, our dreams, and our insecurities. The longer I teach the more I understand and the more I learn. In a classroom setting we learn from each other in the collaborative process here at Wilson. In my free time, I love to take long walks in Valley Forge, play with my kids, read, printmake and paint. |
